Wedding Bells at Christmas
Get thee behind me, Bureaucracy.
My friend Chris has just announced that he's finally marrying lzh – tomorrow. They've been together for the past, hmmm, three (?) years, and have lived together (illegally, I believe) on and off in that time depending on their circumstances. Chris is hoping that he has all the requisite documents to quell the demon of Chinese bureaucracy.
I hope it all goes well for them tomorrow and that they be very happy together.

We managed to escape the red tape legally married, so the day was successful.
Just one question: How the hell did I acquire a blogger display name? I previewed the comment and clicked the link to my blogger profile and funnily enough it's not available. Strange. I'll comment as 'other' as per usual.
I dunno how you acquired a blogger display name unless you use gmail. When I commented on a post on another blog just before Nanny decided that blogspot was a anharmonious and unstable for the good of society, I found I had the same; but I do have a gmail account.
Perhaps Google sneaks something over from LJ. Or perhaps Google in it's bid for world domination makes the assumption that you want to join their global empire.
